A buddy I have there says:
Jordan Weal's Uncle said that Giroux and Voracek are the problem. Coach has zero control over them. Weal asked for the trade. Nolan PAtrick wants out as well. Weal says that Giroux is a total bumhole on the bench and in the dressing room.

So you heard this "info" -- which is wrong, BTW, especially as pertains to Giroux -- at absolute best fourth-hand. Being around the dressing room on virtually a daily basis, I will tell you for 100 percent certain and first-hand that Giroux is very well-liked and respected figure. Teammates identify him as a "good cop" type of leader, as a matter of fact. Sometimes even to a fault.

Give it to him Bill! Giroux is a class act, and probably is going to go down as the 2nd greatest Flyer ever. Statistically speaking anyway. Im glad you put that bum hole in his place! The nerve of that guy spreading falsities


By the way tough loss for the Eagles last night. It’s all good though. They showed how big their heart is, they gave it their all! They just lost to a HEALTHIER team. They’ll be right back in the thick of it next season.

considering Weal will never amount to anything significant in the NHL, it sounds like he's either salty for being sent to purgatory in AZ or you are just a bad troll.

Ugh, even the Phantoms are playing like crap now. Oh well, if Lehtera returns to the lineup he could provide the team a lil pick me up at least.

Giroux is very well liked among his teammates as Bill pointed out and Jay Greenberg has mentioned in his book. And, in regards to Jake, I’ve seen this coach reduce his ice time on quite a few occasions so please, just STFU.

So...if I read that right, Lyon played 3 nights in a row. Back to back to back. Ouch! With all the starts he has gotten of late that seems rough. Phantom injury issues stacking up.

Dressing rooms always have problems no one knows about. Would it surprise me that there are issues ? no....would it surprise me that Weal and Patrick don't like the two superstars? Not really. I'm sure family members always have an opinion about this mess of a team. So Weal wanted a trade ? who cares, he's been a non factor for most of his NHL career. Nolan Patrick needs to worry about his own game if he indeed has a problem...
I to Know a lot of people in the league and I've never heard anyone knock Giroux in this way...Ive heard of some cool off ice antics, but as far as his ability as a captain, I think if true its more of a case of jealousy.
